The UK’s biggest independent metal festival, Bloodstock Open Air, has revealed a fresh wave of bands for its 2026 edition. The event will once again take place at Catton Park in Derbyshire, UK, from August 6–9, 2026, and the lineup is shaping up to be one of the festival’s most diverse to date.
Among the new additions are Black Label Society, the powerhouse led by Ozzy Osbourne’s longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde, and deathcore heavyweights Fit For An Autopsy, who continue to rise as one of the most respected acts in modern extreme metal. The announcement also brings back hardcore veterans Biohazard, alongside metalcore giants Of Mice & Men, groove metal newcomers Orbit Culture, and nu-metal revivalists Vended.
They will join an already stacked bill that features some of metal’s most iconic names. Headliners confirmed so far include Saxon, Lamb of God, Slaughter To Prevail, and Judas Priest, who will bring over 50 years of heavy metal anthems to Catton Park. Fans can also look forward to sets from Sepultura, Body Count, Bleed From Within, and family-friendly dinosaur metal sensation Heavysaurus.
In addition, the Bloodstock 2026 lineup now spans everything from underground death metal and grind to theatrical gothic rock and electronic-infused heavy music. Acts such as Cryptopsy, Wednesday 13, Leprous, Carpenter Brut, Nevermore, 200 Stab Wounds, and Mushroomhead all add to the festival’s eclectic flavor.
With over 70 bands already announced and more to come, Bloodstock Open Air continues to prove itself as a must-attend event for metal fans across the globe. The festival not only delivers heavyweight names but also consistently champions underground acts, creating a community-driven atmosphere that has earned it a legendary status.
