While there’s been no official announcement made by either party, all signs currently point to the Deftones‘ new mystery touring guitarist being Lance Jackman. Known for his work in Sacramento, CA bands Eightfourseven, Horseneck and a past stint in Will Haven, Jackman is said to be the unannounced musician who sat in on guitar with the band for several songs of the Deftones‘ tour kickoff in Portland, OR this past Thursday, April 14th.
Several parties with knowledge on the matter have confirmed Jackman‘s identity to Theprp.com. That show also saw the live debut of the group’s new touring bassist, Fred Sablan. The group’s U.S. tour with Gojira and Vowws continues on tonight (April 16th) as follows:
