Thrash metal legends Anthrax have confirmed the release of their new album for fall 2025. This will be the band’s 12th studio album and their first release since 2016’s “For All Kings”.

Frank Bello, the band’s bassist, revealed the album’s release timeline during an interview with American Music Supply at the NAMM event in Anaheim. Bello stated that the album is expected to arrive in September or October, followed by extensive touring.

We have big touring plans coming up. Those who know Anthrax know that we stay on the road for quite a while. There are some really significant shows being planned that I can’t talk about yet, but I’m extremely excited,” Bello shares.

During the interview, Bello also discussed his new Spector signature bass guitar, which will be featured on the upcoming tours.

The nine-year gap between albums marks the band’s longest break between studio releases, but fans can now look forward to new material later this year.
