Anthrax release new single with video “Everybody’s Got A Plan” and announce special signing session

Anthrax‘s long-awaited new album has brought us yet another new song, as per theprp. The music video for their song “Everybody’s Got A Plan,” which references a famous remark by boxing star Mike Tyson, was recently released by the East Coast thrash metal titans. This video shows a set they performed with Iron Maiden on July 7th in Lisbon, Portugal. This song is the third to be released from the band’s upcoming “Cursum Perficio,” their first new album in ten years. The release date of that record is set for September 18.

‘Everybody’s Got a Plan‘ has always been one of my favorite songs on ‘Cursum Perficio‘. The video basically shows the band on and off stage in a montage of video clips that kinda matches the velocity of the song. The line ‘Everybody’s Got A Plan until they get punched in the face’ is such a great line, and so true! – Charlie Benante

Anthrax will hold a late-night in-store signing in Louisville, Kentucky, to commemorate the release of their eagerly anticipated 12th studio album, “Cursum Perficio”. The event will happen at Guestroom Records on September 18 at 12:01 a.m., right after the band plays at Louder Than Life on September 17. Joey Belladonna, Frank Bello, Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, and Jonathan Donais will be present to sign LP copies. Fans must pre-purchase “Cursum Perficio” directly through Guestroom Records in order to attend, since space is limited. “Cursum Perficio”, Anthrax’s first new album since 2016’s “For All Kings”, will be released by Megaforce Records.
