Colorado melodic black metal act Stormkeep have released a music video for “The Black Dragons of Iswylm”. The release comes a day before their sophomore album “The Nocturnes of Iswylm”. The album drops on June 12 through Metal Blade Records.

Michael Ragen directed the video. He is the filmmaker behind the 20-minute short film “The Stargate” for Blood Incantation. His credits also include work on Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities: The Viewing. The clip features the band members themselves, with each appearing as the mythological figure they represent within the world of Elda.

“The Nocturnes of Iswylm” continues the story introduced on the Denver quartet’s debut, “Tales of Othertime,” and develops what the band calls their “black metal symphonia.” The record is more dynamic and melodic than its predecessor, and explores the inner world of their protagonist, The Seer. Production credit goes to Stormkeep and Michael Zech, known for his work with Secrets of the Moon, Dark Fortress, and The Ruins of Beverast. Arthur Rizk handled mastering, with cover artwork by Simon Bisley and additional visuals by Valnoir.

The seven-track album is available on vinyl in multiple limited variants, with exclusive editions for Europe and North America.
