Icelandic black metal band Forsmán have announced their debut album “Brenndar Rústir & Fuðrandi Fjörur,” due out on June 26, 2026, via Vesperian through Metal Blade Records worldwide. Alongside the announcement, the Kópavogur quartet have shared the opening track “Drottinn Fyrirgefur Allt” together with a visualizer video.

The album’s cover artwork comes from Paolo Girardi, whose previous credits include work for Power Trip, Revocation, and Sulphur Aeon. Pre-orders are now live across multiple formats. Metal Blade Records is handling the North American release as a limited CD digipak with a 16-page booklet, while a gatefold LP edition on clear and black splatter vinyl arrives with an LP booklet and OBI strip.

Furthermore, Forsmán have been working steadily on new material since their debut EP “Dönsum í logans ljóma.” All members of the band are still in their early twenties. The group also sits within the wider current of modern Icelandic black metal alongside Svartidauði, Sinmara, and Misþyrming.
