Ohio instrumental post-rock outfit If These Trees Could Talk have shared “Sea of Glass”, the second single from their upcoming album “The Hidden Hand.” The album arrives July 10 via Metal Blade Records.

Drummer and co-founder Zack Kelly says the track builds from clean guitars and uplifting hooks toward what he calls a haunting and explosive resolution.

The album marks the band’s first full-length in a decade. Their previous LP, “The Bones of a Dying World,” came out in 2016. In 2024, If These Trees Could Talk broke an eight-year recording silence with standalone single “Trail of Whispering Giants”. That release renewed fan demand and helped push the full album forward. Kelly and his brother Cody co-founded the band in Akron, Ohio in 2005.

The nine-track record also includes the earlier single “Blurry Creatures”. “The Hidden Hand” comes out on CD, digital, and multiple vinyl colour variants. Pre-orders are live at the label store.
