Progressive metal outfit Vola have confirmed that they will continue with their planned 2026 touring schedule, despite suffering a major setback late last year when a warehouse fire destroyed most of their live equipment.
Just before the holiday season, a fire broke out at a storage facility in Copenhagen, wiping out the band’s gear, merchandise, vinyl stock, and several custom-built live systems. Much of the lost equipment was described as irreplaceable.
Following the incident, Vola launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the losses. Fans and supporters responded strongly, raising a total of 882,257 Danish krone, roughly $138,000 USD.
In a new update shared by the band, Vola expressed deep gratitude for the response they received from the metal community.
The band thanked fans for their donations and messages, while also acknowledging partners, companies, fellow musicians, and media outlets that helped spread the word. According to the group, the level of support made an enormous difference during an extremely challenging time.
More importantly, Vola confirmed that they have already begun rebuilding their live production setup. As a result, the band expects no cancellations to their upcoming touring plans.
They stated that the recovery process is still ongoing, but morale remains high. The band emphasized that they now feel confident moving forward and are eager to get back on stage.
As things stand, Vola will kick off the next chapter of their touring cycle with their first-ever live shows in Japan and Australia this February. The band also hinted that they are excited to channel the recent experience into their live performances.
