Video footage available of The Smashing Pumpkins’ show at Lollapalooza

During The Smashing Pumpkins‘ performance at the July 31st “Lollapalooza” festival in Chicago, Illinois, three guests joined them onstage, as per theprp. The band’s debut performance was by up-and-coming alternative rocker YUNGBLUD, who made a cameo appearance on the song “Luna” from “Siamese Dream.” Pop rocker Olivia Rodrigo then sang “Thirty-Three” from the diamond-certified “Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness.” Melissa Auf der Maur, an ex-Hole bassist, made a guest appearance on the “Machina/The Machines Of God” cut “The Everlasting Gaze” to close off the band’s performance. During the band’s performance at the Riviera Theatre earlier this week, she also contributed to that song. The performance was broadcast live on Disney+ and Hulu, and videos have appeared on YouTube.
