The Smashing Pumpkins reunite with Butch Vig for new song “Black Stars”

The Smashing Pumpkins have released “Black Stars”, their first new track made with producer Butch Vig in 32 years.

Vig helped shape the band’s early sound and is also known for producing Nirvana‘s “Nevermind”. The collaboration reconnects Billy Corgan’s group with a defining figure from its early 1990s history.

The release marks a notable reunion for longtime listeners. Details of a possible accompanying album have not been confirmed in the available source. Source.
