The Smashing Pumpkins celebrate 35 years of “Gish” with a limited edition

In honour of its 35th anniversary, a new vinyl edition of The Smashing Pumpkins‘ platinum-certified debut album “Gish” has been released, as per theprp. On May 28, 1991, that record was first delivered. The diamond-certified alternative rock band has also released a matching “Gish” merch capsule via smashinpumpkins.com in addition to this new limited-edition coloured vinyl offering (available here) and a conventional black vinyl pressing (see madamezuzus.com). The Smashing Pumpkins recently got back together with Butch Vig, the producer of “Gish” and other songs, for the first time in 32 years, making 2026 a memorable year for them. Additionally, they will go on a 30th anniversary tour later this year to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their largest album to date, “Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness.”
