The Pretty Reckless release new single “Love Me”

Author Benedetta Baldin - 17.4.2026

Love Me” is the third single from The Pretty Reckless‘s eagerly awaited fifth studio album, “Dear God,” which will be released by Fearless Records on June 26, as per Blabbermouth. The song is released as the band is ready to start their headline global tour in 2026. The Pretty Reckless continues to build on that trajectory with “Love Me,” a daring, emotionally driven song that combines Taylor Momsen’s identifiable strong vocals with their trademark explosive guitar work and a gritty edge. The song, which was produced by Momsen, guitarist Ben Phillips, and Jonathan Wyman, features a sound that is both sophisticated and powerful, intensifying their intensity even more.

“Dear God” delves deeper into vulnerability, intensity, and creative freedom after the album’s debut with “When I Wake Up,” which is currently at No. 10 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart and reached No. 16 on Billboard Mainstream Rock last week. This results in one of the band’s most unvarnished and uncompromising releases to date. The record, which was written with diaristic honesty, depicts The Pretty Reckless at their most unvarnished. Momsen remarked this in reference to the song.

‘Love Me’ came from a place I didn’t want to admit I was in. There’s this moment in your life where you’re so hollowed out that you start bargaining with God, not even for happiness, just for proof that someone sees you. That’s what this song is. It’s not pretty. It’s not wrapped up. It’s just a raw, ugly need and I think that’s exactly why people connect with it.
