Don’t worry dear reader, here at Chaoszine we’re not going to become some clairvoyants of some sort or fortune tellers, but hey, at least we tell you the honest truth. QS Supplies and Fractl performed a poll to find out which artists and genres helped people get things going while on the toilet because it seems that enough people need listening materials during their bowel movements. Not me, if you were wondering! We now know that, at the very least, the metal enthusiasts who replied enjoy having sex and pooping to System of a Down and Deftones. 7% of respondents said metal was one of the least popular genres to listen to while in the bathroom, according to a survey that surveyed 500 Americans and 500 Brits about their bathroom listening habits and examined over 300,000 Spotify playlists. Pop, predictably, received the highest percentage at 23%. According to a breakdown of artists, metal fans seem to prefer listening to Deftones, followed by System of a Down and, strangely enough, Kamelot. Additionally, the study inquired about the music that respondents listened to while taking a bath (top artists: Metallica first, Pantera second, Ozzy Osbourne third) and taking a shower (top artists: Metallica first, Black Sabbath second, Sepultura third). It should come as no surprise that the data indicates that while people are less likely to listen to music while urinating, millennials (11%) and Gen Z (15%) were more likely to do so than baby boomers (6%) and Gen Xers (5%). In terms of poopers who just listened to rock music, the most popular songs to start things going were Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and Radiohead.
