Sleep Token bares its soul once again – new single “Damocles” now streaming

The ever-enigmatic British alt-metal phenomenon Sleep Token has dropped its third single “Damocles” from the upcoming album “Even In Arcadia”, due out on May 9th via RCA / Sony Music. This latest track follows the already released singles “Caramel” and “Emergence”, building anticipation for what promises to be another emotionally charged release.

While “Caramel” hit hard with raw honesty, “Damocles” takes a softer, more ballad-like approach—yet lyrically, it doesn’t hold back in the slightest. The song dives deep into the weight of constant pressure, something front figure Vessel seems to be grappling with as the band’s fame continues to rise. It’s another brutally introspective piece, lifting the veil on the artist’s internal struggles and pouring them straight into the music.

And it’s not just about the studio work—Sleep Token is gearing up for a busy year on the road. Festival appearances are locked in across Europe, including Germany’s Rock im Park and Rock am Ring, as well as the UK’s legendary Download Festival. They’re also heading stateside for a full-blown US tour throughout September and October.
