On May 19, 2023, Sleep Token‘s third album, Take Me Back To Eden, was published through Spinefarm, as per MetalInjection. According to a press statement from the band, the album has now achieved certified platinum status with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), indicating that it has surpassed 2 billion streams worldwide. In addition to being a first for the band, it’s also Spinefarm’s first platinum album to date. Additionally, the song “The Summoning” by Sleep Token, which is included on “Take Me Back To Eden”, has been certified gold.
In addition to their studio debut “Sundowning” (2019) and their sophomore album “This Place Will Become Your Tomb” (2021), the album was one of the band’s three releases while they were a part of Spinefarm. Since then, Sleep Token has issued under the RCA Records label; their debut album with the new support was Even in Arcadia last year.
“Even in Arcadia”, their fourth album, was published by RCA Records in 2025. September 2016 saw the publication of their first song, “Thread the Needle,” which was later discovered to be a part of their December self-released debut EP “One”. Two more songs and different piano arrangements of all three tracks were included in the EP.
They posted a rendition of Outkast‘s “Hey Ya!” to YouTube on February 28, 2017. It was revealed in May 2017 that Sleep Token would release their second EP, “Two”, in July after signing with independent label Basick Records. The group released two new singles, “Calcutta” in May and “Nazareth” in June, prior to the EP’s release. In 2017, Sleep Token started doing live performances in addition to producing music to promote bigger bands. In October, they supported Norwegian band Motorpsycho at O2 Academy Islington, and in November, they supported French synthwave musician Perturbator at Student Central.
