New music video from Jay Ray – in collaboration with Paul Udarov

Electronic metal artist Jay Ray has released a new music video after a long period of silence. The song and the video were created in collaboration with fellow electronic metal producer Paul Udarov.

“We’ve probably never spent this much time on making a music video,” Jay says. “The video features a lot of VFX elements, which are quite labor-intensive to produce. Paul is also a professional in the field of VFX, so that part is largely his handiwork,” he adds.

The song tells the story of a person who has struggled with deep depression. “When you’re in that state, you don’t necessarily feel things the way you should. So in the video, we used a robotic heart as a metaphor – it represents the sense of being cold and emotionless,” Jay explains.
