In light of the increasingly difficult times facing the live entertainment sector, the organisers of this year’s Post Festival have reached out to fans for support, as per theprp. This year’s event has been having trouble breaking even due to rising travelling and live event expenses, according to a statement released last week. Torche, Kylesa, Rolo Tomassi, The Armed, and more artists will be performing at this year’s festival, which is set for 23-25 July at the Hi-Fi and Hi-Fi Annex in Indianapolis, IN.
We need your help.
As many of you know, the current economic and political climate has been incredibly tough on people, artists, and small businesses. It’s something we’re all feeling and, unfortunately, it’s impacting Post. Festival in a very real way.
To be completely transparent, we are struggling to reach our break-even point this year. There are a lot of reasons for that—rising travel costs, unreasonable gas prices, crippling visa delays, nagging uncertainty about the future—and we truly understand the struggle. We are now at a pivotal moment where we need to ask for your support.
To help us get through this year and keep Post. Festival alive for the future, we’re making a few changes
and asking for your help:
If Post. Festival has ever meant something to you, this is the year to show it. Share it. Support it. Spread the word. Post about it! We need our community more than ever. Post. Festival IS happening come hell or high water- see you all in July!
