Author Selma Savolainen - 16.4.2026

Former Nightwish singer Anette Olzon, who fronted the band between 2007 and 2012, is set to embark on a European tour this summer to celebrate her time with the band by performing songs from the albums “Dark Passion Play” and “Imaginaerum” live for the first time since her departure.

Olzon’s upcoming European tour will kick off in Finland, where she will take the stage on Saturday, July 25th at Kaaos Festival in Vaskiluoto, Vaasa.

Earlier this week, Olzon sat down with Chaoszine via Zoom to discuss her upcoming Finnish show. The interview also covered, among other topics, her current relationship with Nightwish and her broader future plans.

Additionally, Olzon revealed during the interview that while on her South American tour, she had been in contact via email with Tuomas Holopainen to receive his blessing for her upcoming shows.
