The music documentary “I Was A Teenage Sex Pistol” will be available for purchase or rental on digital platforms in the United States beginning on Tuesday, May 26, according to VMI Worldwide, as per Blabbermouth. Pre-orders for Apple TV will start on Tuesday, May 12. The film provides an honest, perceptive, and long-overdue account of one of the most significant and contentious punk bands of all time. It is based on the critically acclaimed tell-all memoir written by Glen Matlock, the founding member of the Sex Pistols. Now, audiences will get the opportunity to hear the tale from a man whose artistic contributions—which have historically been minimized—are crucial to the band’s groundbreaking sound and musical legacy.
