‘Filthy Lucre Live’ by Sex Pistols will soon be available in vinyl and CD

This year, fans will be able to purchase “Filthy Lucre Live” as a 2LP red vinyl collection with bonus tracks, commemorating 30 years since the Sex Pistols made a comeback, as per Blabbermouth. On June 23, 1996, Johnny Rotten (John Lydon), Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock joined the stage at Finsbury Park for a historic concert that solidified their status as the greats of popular music. It was the largest shock reunion of the 1990s. The iconic album “Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols,” which included hits like “Anarchy In The U.K.” “Bodies,” “God Save The Queen,” “Holidays In The Sun,” and “Pretty Vacant,” served as a major inspiration for the explosive performance.

The Japanese additional tracks “No Fun” and “Buddies” (a crowd sing-along version of “Bodies“) will be included for the first time in the official double red LP and single CD collections, which will be released on November 20, 2026. The record reaffirms the Sex Pistols’ continuing influence and combative attitude by providing a raw and uncompromising portrait of them at full blast.

It was 20 years on from when we initially broke up in ’78 and it was always a debate that the pistols couldn’t play. I think ‘Filthy Lucre’ shows not only that we can play but we are a powerhouse. Long live rock ‘n’ roll. – Steve Jones
