Alcatraz drops 32 new acts… and 100 extra camper spots!
The winter still has to begin in earnest, but the eighteenth edition of the Alcatraz Metal Festival — which takes place next summer — is already almost fully announced with 32 more marquee acts. Also on the bill: Primus (yes, really!), Crowbar, Health, Pentagram, Masterplan, Firewind, Misþyrming and Nergal, Funeral Dress, Cyclone, Cowboys & Aliens, Mortal Sin, Wings of Steel, Witch Club Satan, Tailgunner, The Troops of Doom, Insanity Alert, Nefarious, Graphic Nature, Izegrim, Aeveris, Hemelbestormer, Hope Erodes, Your Highness, Ronker, Modder, A Thousand Sufferings, Sons of Lioth, Divided, Poseydon, Encounters, Turpentine Valley, and Steengruis will perform at what is the Benelux region’s largest outdoor heavy festival, held from Thursday, August 6 to Sunday, August 9, 2026 in Kortrijk.
New in 2026: the main stage, the Prison Stage, will already open on Thursday instead of Friday — and, just like in previous years, the entire festival will run an evening-only programme on Thursday.
Day tickets are available on our website (both regular and VIP). Completely against the trend, day ticket prices are lower than in 2025.
