On July 29, the Australian deathcore group Thy Art Is Murder performed live with a new vocalist, as per theprp. Australian rapper Jerry Grimefeld (formerly of Honest Crooks/Vengeance) led the band during their performance at the “Rockstadt Extreme Festival” in Ghimbav, Romania, despite the fact that the band has not yet publicly addressed their alleged breakup with Tyler Miller. Earlier this year, the latter had filled in for the band. Due to the obvious indications that Miller’s social media profiles had changed, fans had been conjecturing online that he was no longer a member of the group. Miller became a rather last-minute addition to the band’s roster in 2023 after CJ McMahon was sacked due to his contentious remarks.

Vocalist Brendan van Ryn, guitarists Gary Markowski and Sean Delander, bassist Josh King, and drummer Lee Stanton made comprised the group Thy Art Is Murder when it was first formed in 2006 in the Blacktown neighbourhood of Western Sydney. At the time, the majority of members were about 15 years old. They started performing at local events after releasing their first demo, the three-track “This Hole Isn’t Deep Enough for the Twelve of You”, in 2007. Due to their extremely passionate performances, they soon developed a devoted following among Western Sydney’s local deathcore fans and went on to independently tour Australia’s east coast.
