Tuomas Holopainen: “If Floor Jansen someday decides to leave the band that would be the end of Nightwish

Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish has been in pretty tough situations during it’s career many times and replacing singers like Tarja Turunen and Anette Olzon has definitely not been an easy task to do.

Nightwish mainman Tuomas Holopainen has now admitted during a recent interview with Loudersound that despite the band surviving already two vocalist changes (well basically three if you count in Marko Hietala as well) it will be 100% done if Floor Jansen ever decides to leave the band.

Tuomas Holopainen had the following to say about the matter:

“That’s how I felt back in 2019, and that’s also how I felt when Marko left. I take my words back when it comes to that. But if it would be Floor [Jansen, vocalist] leaving, that’s it, it’s the end of Nightwish. Absolutely, 100%.”
