Tribulation, Sarcator and Speglas: three shades of darkness at Kollektivet Livet

Author Catia Weber - 4.5.2026

Kollektivet Livet was packed on the eve of Valborg. Tribulation rolled in with their Sub Rosa in Suethia Tour and brought two bands along that each had their own darkness to offer. Speglas opened the night with death metal steeped in gloom and melancholy. Their debut album is fresh and the songs already land hard live. Sarcator came on and the room woke up fast. Blackened thrash with the whole band constantly moving, running across the stage and pouring everything into every song. By the time Tribulation took the stage incense was already burning at the sides. Sinister lights, heavy atmosphere and a long meditative introduction set the mood for what already felt like a ritual. “Saturn Coming Down“, “Murder in Red” and “Hungry Waters” carried their gothic weight with precision.
