Despite the pouring rain, fans packed Kollektivet Livet on July 22 for a sold-out evening with Arch Enemy. As part of the Back to the Roots of All Evil Tour 2026, the band revisited the atmosphere of smaller venues, bringing the audience closer and recreating the feeling of their early club shows.
The setlist was a gift for longtime fans, with classics from the Angela Gossow era such as “We Will Rise“ and “Nemesis” getting some of the loudest reactions of the night. Michael Amott‘s guitar work once again showed why he remains one of the most respected guitarists in melodic death metal. Together with Joey Concepcion, Sharlee D’Angelo and Daniel Erlandsson, the band delivered a sharp performance with the same power and precision that have kept these songs alive after so many years.
Lauren Hart looked completely at home as Arch Enemy‘s new vocalist. An absolute beast on stage, she commanded the room with powerful vocals and endless energy throughout the show. Shows like this are a reminder that while bigger venues can welcome more people, smaller ones often create a closer connection between the band and the audience that’s hard to match.
