Brady Ebert, the former guitarist for Turnstile, has a preliminary trial date, as per theprp. William Yates, the 79-year-old father of Turnstile singer Brendan Yates, and Ebert got into a fight earlier this year. William suffered a severely damaged leg as a result of Ebert allegedly driving him over in a car during that physical struggle on March 29. Witnesses indicate that Ebert started the intense verbal altercation between the two before the incident. This police report contains more information about the altercation that resulted in Ebert’s arrest. Ebert was first charged with first-degree assault and attempted second-degree murder for the event, but this past April, the charges were changed to attempted first-degree murder.
Ebert might receive a maximum sentence of thirty years in prison if found guilty of that offence. According to Lambgoat, Ebert’s trial in this case is now scheduled to start on October 5 in Rockville, Maryland. Ebert has previously stated that he responded to the incident in “pure self defence.” In 2022, Ebert was fired from Turnstile, and the breakup was particularly acrimonious.
