Mary Morello, Tom Morello‘s mother, passed away at the age of 102, as per Blabbermouth. On Sunday night, the guitarist for Rage Against The Machine announced her departure on social media.Tom, 62, posted pictures of Mary on Instagram, one of which showed him holding her hand. In order to care for his sick mother, Tom had to cancel his appearances at a number of European music festivals last month, including the BBK Music Legends in Spain and Tonnes Of Rock in Norway.

Tom Morello is a political activist, singer, composer, and guitarist from the United States. He is well-known for his time spent with the rock groups Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine. Morello participated in the supergroup Prophets of Rage from 2016 to 2019. In addition, Morello occasionally travels with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Morello published his solo work under the name the Nightwatchman. He founded the Street Sweeper Social Club with Boots Riley. Axis of Justice, a monthly program on Pacifica Radio station KPFK (90.7 FM) in Los Angeles, was co-founded by Morello.
