Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has officially released his latest rock solo album, “Everyone Gets Everything They Want”, as per theprp. The new record boasts a star-studded list of guest contributors, including System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian, Beartooth vocalist/guitarist Caleb Shomo, and politically outspoken Irish hip-hop trio KNEECAP. Morello, who famously praised KNEECAP in 2025 by declaring them “the Rage Against The Machine of now,” collaborated with the group on the track “Unconquered.” A dedicated music video for the activist-driven collaboration, directed by Isabella Margolis, has also been released alongside the album.

Tom Morello was born on May 30, 1964, in Harlem, New York City, as the only child of Mary Morello and Ngethe Njoroge. His mother, an educator of Italian and Irish descent from Marseilles, Illinois, earned a Master of Arts at Loyola University, Chicago, and taught English abroad across Germany, Spain, Japan, and Kenya between 1977 and 1983. His parents originally met in August 1963 during a pro-democracy protest in Nairobi, Kenya, before marrying in New York City later that year.
Morello’s father, who participated in the Mau Mau Uprising from 1952 to 1960, went on to serve as Kenya’s first ambassador to the United Nations. The guitarist comes from a prominent Kenyan political lineage: his paternal great-uncle, Jomo Kenyatta, became Kenya’s first elected president, while his aunt, Jemimah Gecaga, was the first female member of the Kenyan legislature. Furthermore, his uncle Njoroge Mungai served as a Kenyan Cabinet Minister and Member of Parliament, recognized as one of the founding fathers of modern Kenya.
