The Halo Effect, the band that includes five former members of the Swedish metal band In Flames — Jesper Strömblad (guitar), Daniel Svensson (drums), Peter Iwers (bass), Niclas Engelin (guitar,) and Mikael Stanne (vocals) — has announced an eight-date North American tour leading up the group’s appearance at this year’s Milwaukee Metal Fest. Unearth and High Command will be supporting the trek.
The Swedish group said in a statement: “Friends! We’re extremely excited to let you know that our first-ever US tour will take place this May! The week leading up to the Milwaukee Metal Fest will see us bringing some massive riffage and thunder to the cities/venues shown below. Tickets go on sale this Friday, so make sure not to miss out!”
The Halo Effect is planning to enter the studio later this year to record a new LP. The upcoming opus will be the follow-up to the band’s debut album, “Days Of The Lost”, which came out on August 12, 2022, via Nuclear Blast.
