System Of A Down launched their long-awaited 2026 European stadium tour on Monday, June 29, with a sold-out performance at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The concert marked the band’s first European tour date since 2017, ending a eight-year absence from European stages.
The band delivered a career-spanning 29-song set, mixing timeless classics with several deep cuts that longtime fans rarely get to hear live. The evening opened with Soldier Side – Intro before launching straight into “B.Y.O.B.“, while highlights included “Aerials“, “Chop Suey!“, “Lonely Day“, “Toxicity” and the set-closing anthem “Sugar.”
Fans were also treated to rarities such as “Innervision“, “Suggestions“, “Forest“, “DAM” and “Streamline“, alongside “Genocidal Humanoidz“, one of the two standalone singles the band released in 2020. During Psycho, the band even incorporated a snippet of Kraftwerk‘s classic “Trans-Europe Express“.
Following the Stockholm opener, System Of A Down will head to Paris for two sold-out performances at Stade de France on July 2 and July 4 before continuing the tour in Milan, Berlin, Düsseldorf, London and Warsaw. The entire European run features Queens Of The Stone Age as special guests, with Acid Bath opening the shows.
