System Of A Down have added a fourth and final concert at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, after the three previously announced 2027 dates sold out. The additional show takes place on Saturday, June 12, 2027, with French metal band Gojira as special guests.
Originally announced as a single Rose Bowl appearance, the run has expanded in response to demand. System Of A Down now have four headline performances planned at the venue in June, with a different support act across the first and second halves of the engagement.
Tickets for the newly announced June 12 concert go on general sale on Tuesday, October 27 at noon California time. The fourth date is being advertised as the final addition to the band’s Rose Bowl engagement.
Promoter Live Nation’s announcement confirms that Gojira will support both the June 10 and June 12 shows. The June 5–6 concerts retain Pierce The Veil as support. Fans attending different nights will therefore see one of two distinct lineups.

In 1994, the Armenian-American heavy metal group System Of A Down was founded in Glendale, California. Serj Tankian (lead vocals, keyboards), Daron Malakian (guitar, vocals), Shavo Odadjian (bass), and John Dolmayan (drums), who took Andy Khachaturian’s position, have been the band’s original members since 1997. Three of the band’s five studio albums debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, demonstrating their commercial success. In addition to receiving four Grammy Award nominations, System Of A Down’s song “B.Y.O.B.” took home the Best Hard Rock Performance Grammy in 2006.
Renowned for their politically charged lyrical content, many of their compositions address social and political issues, such as the anti-war message conveyed in “B.Y.O.B.” and the critique of the prison industrial complex and the war on drugs in “Prison Song.” The band entered a hiatus in 2006 and subsequently reunited in 2010. Aside from releasing two new songs in 2020 (“Protect the Land” and “Genocidal Humanoidz“), they have not issued any new material since their 2005 albums, “Mezmerize” and “Hypnotize”. System of a Down has achieved global record sales exceeding 12 million units, with two singles, “Aerials” and “Hypnotize,” reaching the top position on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart. All band members possess Armenian heritage, either as descendants of Armenian immigrants or as immigrants themselves.
