Sleep Theory has released a new cover of the early Paramore song “My Heart“, as per theprp. With this new version, the alternative rock group is closely following up on their rendition of *NSYNC‘s “Bye Bye Bye.” A visualiser for this most recent production, which was directed by Hugo Rubiano, may be found here. Tennessee is the birthplace of both Paramore and Sleep Theory.

Sleep Theory was founded in the year 2019 and is made up of drummer Ben Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, guitarist/unclean vocalist Daniel Pruitt, and vocalist Cullen Moore. Moore, a US Army veteran, started the band as a solo endeavor before Vergara joined. The singles “Another Way” and “Numb” were published prior to their debut EP, “Paper Hearts”, which was released in 2023. Over the following few months, the EP received over 33 million streams. They revealed their debut album, “Afterglow”, on February 5, 2025; it was released on May 16, 2025. Along with Falling In Reverse, Nevertel, Oxymorrons, Strayview, Papa Roach, and The Used, they supported the record by touring the United States from August to December 2025.
After releasing their debut album, “Afterglow,” which was produced by David Cowell and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, Architects), in May 2025, Sleep Theory is coming off of its third No. 1 at rock radio, a “Best New Rock Artist” win at the iHeart Radio Music Awards, a sold-out debut European headline tour, and two sold-out North American headline runs.
