Seven Hours After Violet performed a cover of System Of A Down‘s “Prison Song” to end their performance at “Knotfest Brazil” in São Paulo, Brazil. The inclusion of a SOAD cover is obvious given that System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian leads the lineup for this supergroup, which also features vocalist Taylor Barber (Left To Suffer), guitarist/producer Michael “Morgothbeatz” Montoya (Winds Of Plague, etc.), Alejandro Aranda (also known as Scarypoolparty), runner-up on “American Idol,” on guitars and vocals, and drummer Josh Johnson. John Dolmayan, drummer for System Of A Down, was added to make it a little more memorable. It was just Seven Hours After Violet‘s second typical live show overall, and their third live performance. This month witnessed the release of their self-titled debut album.
