Scorpions cancel all upcoming shows in India due to medical circumstances

Author Benedetta Baldin - 19.4.2026

The previously announced trip of India by Scorpions has been cancelled, as per Blabbermouth. Later this month, the four-city journey was supposed to stop in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Shillong. Earlier, BookMyShow, the tour organisers, announced the cancellation on social media. Scorpions were scheduled to play on April 21 at JN Stadium in Shillong, April 24 at HUDA Grounds in Delhi-NCR, April 26 at NICE Grounds in Bengaluru, and April 30 at Jio Gardens, BKC, Mumbai.

We regret to inform you that the Scorpions ‘Coming Home’ India tour scheduled in Shillong on April 21st, Delhi-NCR on April 24th, Bengaluru on April 26th and Mumbai on April 30th, stands cancelled due to unforeseen medical circumstances affecting the band members.

We apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment caused to fans. The band are very keen to perform in India when possible and within their schedule

Additionally, any tickets purchased would be automatically returned within seven to ten business days, according to the organisers. For the first time in almost 20 years, Scorpions would have performed live in India during their “Coming Home” tour. As part of their “Humanity” international tour, Scorpions last visited India in December 2007, performing in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Shillong.

Due to Meine’s respiratory ailment, Scorpions had to postpone some of their 60th anniversary concerts in South America last May. In March 2025, the Scorpions began their 60th anniversary tour in Chile, Brazil, and Mexico. The journey was initially scheduled to begin in February 2025 with a residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. However, drummer Mikkey Dee’s recuperation after being diagnosed with sepsis caused these dates to be pushed back.
