Accept to release celebration album ‘Teutonic Titans 1976–2026’ with a star-studded lineup

Author Benedetta Baldin - 28.4.2026

In a historic release, German/American heavy metal stalwarts Accept bring together the best musicians in the scene to commemorate 50 years of unadulterated strength, as per Blabbermouth. Forged in steel and propelled by identifiable riffs, “Teutonic Titans 1976–2026” is a definitive declaration of the band’s career. The album, which was released by Napalm Records on September 4, 2026, features some of the most famous tracks in heavy metal history. A astonishing 50 guests join the band, which is led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the long-time creator of Accept’s sound, for 19 reworked renditions of their biggest hits. “Teutonic Titans 1976-2026” is Accept’s most ambitious and star-studded release to date, with a global audience.

The record solidifies the band’s position on the international scene and has the biggest names in heavy music honouring the German/American titans. This is a metal manifesto, not just an album. Pre-orders are now offered in a number of unique formats. Moving chronologically through albums from their early years, such as “I’m A Rebel” (1980) and “Eat The Heat” (1989), Accept presents their songs with a brand-new, all-star lineup, complete with Wolf Hoffmann’s distinctive riffs and Mark Tornillo’s characteristic vocal. No two tracks on “Teutonic Titans 1976-2026” are the same because it has a who’s who of metal musicians. Each track has a unique mix of percussion, bass, guitars, and vocals, giving each classic a unique edge.

With Ray Luzier on drums, Tobias Forge (Ghost) gives a powerful performance on the song “Save Us” (“I’m A Rebel”, 1980). Mikkey Dee (Scorpions), Philip Anselmo (Pantera), and Kirk Hammett (Metallica) rip through the speed metal classic “Fast As A Shark” (“Restless And Wild”, 1982). Rob Halford’s (Judas Priest) tremendous range and Matthias Jabs’s (Scorpions) guitar work make “Balls To The Wall” soar, while Billy Corgan’s (Smashing Pumpkins) and David Ellefson’s (Megadeth) renditions of “Love Child” enhance the 1983 song.

K.K. Downing (Judas Priest), Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth (Overkill), Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Chris Jericho (Fozzy), Ralph Scheepers (Primal Fear), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big), Ola Englund (The Haunted), and Jeff Loomis (Nevermore) are among the other guest stars on the remarkable release of Accept. The current lineup of Accept—Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Martin Motnik, guitarist Philip Shouse, drummer Christopher Williams, and vocalist Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys)—performs a rerecording of “Hellhammer” (“Eat The Heat”, 1989) on the album.
