Priest, featuring former band members of Ghost: Music video for “Python” released

The Swedish dark 80s style synth-pop band Priest, which partly consists of former band members of the Swedish rock heavyweights Ghost, has released their new single “Python“, along with a music video. You can check out the video below:

The music video was directed by Linton Rubino.

Priest comment on the new release as follows:

“‘Python’ is a song about surveillance, control and the strange reality of living in a world where almost everything we do can be tracked, logged and turned into data. We wanted to turn that feeling into something dark, intense and made for the dancefloor. ‘All membranes activated. A rogue eavesdropper of your mind. There’s no stopper to this kind. “Python” is the first single from Priest‘s upcoming 5th studio album “Altered State Police” which will be released on 23 October 2026 via Blue Nine Records and can be pre-ordered here. The crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for “Altered State Police” is also still running for a few more days:
