Priest, featuring former band members of Ghost: New album on the way, crowdfunding campaign launched

The Swedish dark 80s style synth-pop band Priest, which partly consists of former band members of the Swedish rock heavyweights Ghost, will release their 5th studio album “Altered State Police” on 23 October 2026 via Blue Nine Records:

“The wait has been long but now it’s finally within reach: Altered State Police. We are exhausted and extremely proud to present our fifth studio album that will take you on a journey through dystopian cityscapes. Two years in the making, Altered State Police is the record we’ve been building toward – every detail was considered, reconsidered and then considered again. The band further describes “Altered State Police” as “AI-free, uncompromising and written with the ambition of becoming a classic album”:

As in the past, the masked trio launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for “Altered State Police”, stating that “all funds raised” would “go towards mixing, mastering, vinyl pressing, distribution and music videos”:
