“Stage Tour” is the new game that follows “Guitar Hero” – and quite a few songs you can play are heavy metal

For its extensive library of playable songs, the upcoming “Guitar Hero”/”Rock Band” spiritual successor “Stage Tour” has revealed more artists, as per theprp. RedOctane Games, a firm that includes veterans of the original “Guitar Hero” and “DJ Hero” franchises, is developing the game. For in-game instruments, partnerships have been formed with Gibson, Kramer, Epiphone, and Mesa Boogie; actual Kramer & Gibson guitar accessories have already been revealed. The game will also support microphones and drum kit accessories, as well as a specially designed midi drum hub adapter that lets players use their own electronic drums. More than 90 playable tracks will be included in the game, which is scheduled for release on December 10th.

Additional songs will be unveiled at this week’s “Gamescom” exhibition in Cologne, Germany. Pop-punk favourites, chart-topping pop rock performers, new wave and goth icons, thrash metal royalty, and more artists have already been confirmed for the game. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch 2 are among the launch platforms for “Stage Tour.”
