Lost Society frontman Samy Elbanna spoke in a Chaoszine video interview about performing Children of Bodom songs. He also explained how the upcoming Children of Bodom appearances fit alongside his ongoing work with Lost Society.
Asked whether performing with Children of Bodom would affect Lost Society, Elbanna acknowledged the scheduling challenge but said the two commitments have not clashed:
“Time management, 100%. But no, it doesn’t clash with Lost Society. I think things go very naturally, and until this point also, everything is, it seems like something’s happening when something’s not happening with the other camp. So everything’s actually going well. But for time management definitely there’s going to be some things that I have to just work out myself. But luckily, I’m blessed with having great teams behind me also, so that’s definitely not an issue, and the more I get to play music, the more I’m just happy.”
He added that he knows many musicians who successfully balance several active bands and believes the same approach can work here:
“I mean, I can imagine, and with a lot of bands also I have a lot of good friends who do that same thing. And for everyone it’s sort of like you just have to manage to make both things work in a different cycle. And everything, you know, when someone’s doing something, someone else isn’t doing, and so forth. But especially for something this special, I think it’s a no-brainer that we’ll find a way to make it work.”
Lost Society released their sixth studio album “Hell Is A State Of Mind” in 2026 and have continued touring. The band’s previously announced activities include a Finnish tour with HOKKA. Elbanna did not announce any cancellation or change to Lost Society’s plans.
