Puscifer bring “Normal Isn’t” to Europe this October

Author Benedetta Baldin - 6.10.2026

Puscifer, the genre-defying collective led by Maynard James Keenan alongside Mat Mitchell and Carina Round, will bring their immersive “Normal Isn’t” live experience to Europe this fall, launching their European headlining tour on October 25, 2026, in Stockholm, Sweden.

The tour marks Puscifer’s first European and UK performances since 2023 and follows the release of the band’s latest album, “Normal Isn’t”, which arrived on February 6, 2026. The record pushes Puscifer further into darker, guitar-driven territory while retaining the electronic textures, theatricality and dark humor that have become hallmarks of the band’s singular sound.

With “Normal Isn’t”, Puscifer continues to expand its distinctive musical and visual universe. The live show brings together music, performance, elaborate visuals and the band’s ever-evolving Pusciverse, creating an experience that goes well beyond a traditional concert.

The European run begins October 25 at Annexet in Stockholm and continues through November, with stops in Oslo, Warsaw, Berlin, Zurich, Brussels, Tilburg, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. Dave Hill will provide support throughout the European dates.

“Normal Isn’t” represents another evolution for Puscifer, a band renowned for constantly reshaping its sound and presentation. The album draws on the post-punk and goth influences that helped shape the band’s musical identity while exploring the darker side of contemporary life through Puscifer’s characteristically surreal lens.

Umlaut, “a premiere improvisational hardcore band,” was the initial name of Puscifer. Keenan and Adam Jones were members of the fictional band “Puscifer,” which was originally revealed in the first episode of Mr. Show. Although Jones’ artwork has appeared on Puscifer clothing, Jones is not otherwise connected to Puscifer. Pusciferis “just a playground for the different voices in my head, […] a space with no clear or discernible goals, […] where my Id, Ego, and Anima all come together to exchange cookie recipes,” according to Keenan. Additionally, Keenan collaborated with Ford Englerth and Jeffrey Brooks of Red Rock Entertainment Development on short films, which were produced in a style reminiscent to Mr. Show and Tom Waits’ Big Time.

Puscifer is “as much a clothing line as it is a band“; the apparel is made in small quantities. Keenan and Paul Frank worked together on a leather jacket. Keenan announced on the puscifer.com blog on September 16, 2008, that Jerome, Arizona’s first Puscifer store would “hopefully” open by October 1. The store launched on October 3, 2008, in a tiny room above a tattoo parlour. Keenan has made locally roasted coffee, artwork, and an ever-evolving selection of limited edition souvenirs accessible in addition to the stuff on the band’s internet site.
