It looks like more music from A Perfect Circle is on the way

The multi-platinum ensemble A Perfect Circle has more in store than only their recent unexpected release of a brand-new song called “Starless“, as per theprp. In addition to doing a lot of travelling this year, co-vocalist and guitarist Billy Howerdel has stated that the band is working on additional new music.

There’s more [music] underway. And in the spirit of soft deadlines, I’m not gonna give you the date, but we’re working toward something.

In the same conversation, however, Howerdel later disclosed that they appear to be working on a new studio album. “Eat The Elephant,” the group’s most recent full-length album, was released in 2018. Howerdel is now on tour in Europe and the UK, but he is still optimistic about finding some time off to work on that.

.. to get real cracking on to the new album, it’s gonna be… I need a couple more of these days to line up over the next tour.

It appears that vocalist Maynard James Keenan, who is also a member of Tool and Puscifer, and his bandmate in A Perfect Circle may have already had an advantage in that regard. Keenan is renowned for his astute use of time management due to the numerous undertakings and commercial endeavours he frequently balances. He posted the picture below of what looks to be a singing session in a hotel room over the weekend, most likely to work on new song ideas.
