Black Sabbath guitar legend Tony Iommi will be a guest on his old bandmate Ozzy Osbourne’s upcoming solo album. Now, in a recent video, Iommi tells us a little about 2021, a year in which he was busy working on various projects.

In the video, Iommi also reveals that some great vocal performances were recorded for the Prince of Darkness’ upcoming solo album.

“I wrote this track and he’s done some great vocals on it. I was really pleased with what he’s done; he’s singing really well. So that was another project we did”, Iommi says.

Iommi told Planet Rock a while ago about a song he wrote for Osbourne’s album:

“I wrote the whole track and played on it and played the solo on it. It’s horrible, really… .No. I’m joking”, Iommi jokes and continues:

“No, it’s good. It’s really good. And I like what Ozzy sang on it. I think he did a really good job. And I think they had Chad [Smith, of Red Hot Chili Peppers] play drums on it. I’ve left it in their hands now.”

Osbourne’s upcoming album will also feature Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Zakk Wylde, Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, Foo Fighters‘ Taylor Hawkins and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith.
