June 13th was the day set for Ozzy Osbourne’s “life-altering” surgery, according to Page Six.
A family source has commented that there will be “lengthy amount of convalescence”, and the singer will require a nurse at home.
The source stated:
“Ozzy is 73 and any kind of surgery when you get older is difficult. This is quite major. He’s having the pins in his neck and back realigned from when he had a fall back in 2019.
Ozzy sustained injuries during a quad biking accident in 2003, which was only made worse in 2019 when he fell in his LA home, requiring 15 screws to be inserted in his spine.
Ozzy’s wife Sharon Osbourne was on British talk show “The Talk” last week. She said:
“He has a very major operation on Monday (June 13), and I have to be there,” the 69-year-old TV star said. “It’s really going to determine the rest of his life.”
