Ozzy Osbourne provides latest news regarding his performance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction

Ozzy Osbourne expresses his desire to perform at his solo induction ceremony into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. However, he mentions that he is still awaiting medical clearance. During the latest episode of the Ozzy Speaks series on SiriusXM, he provided a health update to co-host Billy Morrison.

I’d like to do a gig without falling over now [but] one surgeon [is] taking his time

Osbourne is fighting against Parkinson’s and also pain associated with a string of back surgeries. Asked by Billboard if he’d perform at October’s Rock Hall ceremony, Osbourne could only say:

You never know.

Morrison then asked him;

Is there an achievement that you haven’t got yet that you would like?

To which Osbourne replied

Oscar.

Morrison continued:

Well, you’ve got to be in a movie to do an Oscar.

And yet Ozzy said:

You asked me what award I haven’t gotten. No, Elton John got one for a song.

The Godfather of heavy metal is already inducted with Black Sabbath in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame but states that the solo honour

It’s big and different because my solo career, it’s been a much larger part of my overall music career as a whole.
