Heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne‘s latest collaboration with musician Billy Morrison has already climbed to #26 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, despite not being officially released. According to Forbes, their track “Gods Of Rock N Roll,” which first aired on Ozzy’s Boneyard SiriusXM channel last month, has gained significant radio traction.

The song reimagines their 2015 track “Gods,” now enhanced with a 61-piece orchestra and choir. While currently unavailable to the public, both the song and its accompanying video will debut across digital platforms this Friday, February 14th.

The track will also be featured as a bonus inclusion on the upcoming deluxe edition of “The Morrison Project,” Billy Morrison’s latest work, scheduled for release on February 21st. This expanded version will also include demo and remix versions of the pair’s previous collaboration “Crack Cocaine.”

Meanwhile, Osbourne faces legal challenges as photographer Neil Zlozower has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the metal legend. The suit alleges unauthorized use of Zlozower’s photographs featuring Osbourne with Randy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, and others on official Osbourne social media accounts.

Billboard reports that Zlozower claims to have contacted Osbourne’s team three times in 2024 requesting removal of the photos, but received no response, leading to the current legal action.
