In honour of the anniversary of his last performance and his passing in July of last year, Ozzy Osbournes famous throne, last seen during the “Back To The Beginning” event, is currently on display at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in his hometown, as per Blabbermouth. A unique addition to the free exhibition “Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero” starting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, is the black gothic-style throne. Check out video from Ozzy‘s social media and Birmingham Live below. Originally built for Ozzy‘s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction in 2024, the throne was last seen during his solo performance and Black Sabbath’s farewell show on July 5, 2025 at Villa Park.

It is a moving reminder of Ozzy as fans get ready to commemorate the first year since his death on July 22, 2025, with references to the heavy metal singer’s life and work, including bat wing themes. The exhibition honouring the life, music, and cultural influence of the Birmingham-born global rock icon includes the throne along with a variety of personal mementos, pictures, and lifetime honours. Ozzy‘s journey from Aston to one of the most significant figures in rock music is visible to visitors. Curated by Central BID Birmingham and Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in conjunction with the Osbourne family, the exhibition has been extended twice and attracted over 640,000 visitors since it opened in June 2025. It will now end on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
