In response to the Ozzy-related turmoil that erupted between them on social media late last week, Dee Snider has apologised to Kelly Osbourne, as per Loudwire. On August 18, the former Twisted Sister icon apologised to Kelly on X after she took offence at certain comments he made a few days prior regarding her father’s career on the platform.
@KellyOsbourne I’m sorry what I said hurt you. It was never my intent. My sympathies on the loss of your dad.
Upcoming shows by Twisted Sister:
The American heavy metal group Twisted Sister was founded in 1972 in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, and then moved to Long Island, New York. “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock” are two of their most well-known songs, and their music videos are renowned for their slapstick comedy. In addition to their music, the band is also known for their hairstyles, androgynous attire, and makeup, which led to their classification in the 1980s hair metal genre.
The late 1980s marked the conclusion of Twisted Sister’s initial run. In November 2001, the band made a public comeback after over ten years to headline New York Steel, a hard-rock benefit show that raised funds for the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund.
