Scorpions announced on social media that they would be delaying their 2025 Las Vegas show so that drummer Mikkey Dee could complete his recuperation from his recent fight with sepsis. Scorpions‘ “Coming Home to Las Vegas 60th Anniversary” residency was initially set to begin on February 27 at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, with further performances planned through March. Their third Vegas residency since 2022 will now take place from August 14 to August 23. Buckcherry will continue to be the opening act. Dee recently talked about his experience with sepsis and how the bacterial blood infection nearly killed him. Before joining Scorpions in 2016, Dee, who spent more than 20 years playing for Motorhead, claimed he was on the verge of joining Lemmy Kilmister.
