One of the viewers asked Ozzy Osbourne‘s son Jack during a livestream on his YouTube channel on May 12 about the progress of the eagerly anticipated biopic on Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, as per Blabbermouth.
I can tell you this: we are moving ahead. I was on calls today about it. The script is right there. We are good. This movie willabsolutely happen. Realistically — I mean, look, we’re already halfway through ’26 — it probably won’t come out until ’28. But you never know. But, yeah, we’re full steam ahead. We’re about to start going out and getting a director attached. So, fingers crossed. I’m really excited. It’s, yeah, very much been a labor of love, of course. But, yeah, I’m excited — I’m excited for everyone to see this film.
After starring in his family’s reality TV series, The Osbournes, which aired on MTV and won an Emmy Award in 2002, Osbourne rose to prominence. Osbourne was primarily portrayed in the sitcom as a disobedient adolescent who enjoyed partying and fighting with her sister, Kelly Osbourne. In a Tenacious D song promoting In the third season of The Osbournes, Jack Black sings the line “and he’s got a big ‘fro on his head” to depict Osbourne’s curly hair, which grew longer until he shaved it off. Along with the rest of his family, Osbourne made a brief appearance in Austin Powers: Goldmember in 2002. Later, he and his sister Kelly starred in a Pepsi Twist commercial during Super Bowl XXXVI.
Osbourne played Audrey’s childhood buddy in Dawson’s Creek’s sixth season, which ran from 2002 to 2003.
