Infected Rain and Butcher Babies headline a wild night at Kollektivet Livet

Saturday night at Kollektivet Livet and the place was ready for a night of loud and heavy music commanded by women. Infected Rain and Butcher Babies brought the Mutation Phase Tour to Stockholm on April 25th, with Lithuanian modern metal act Black Spikes joining as support.

Black Spikes opened the night and set the bar high. Theatrical, energetic and full of personality, they made sure the room was already alive before the headliners even got there. Bold outfits, strong stage presence and the kind of performance that makes you pull out your phone to look them up on the way home.

When Butcher Babies hit the stage the energy was immediate. Heidi Shepherd owns it completely, confident, charismatic and warm, she is the kind of frontwoman that pulls the whole room in. When the pit opened up, she threw herself right into it.

Then Infected Rain took the stage and the fun kept going. Lena Scissorhands is a force of nature. Between songs you get glimpses of her genuine humor and warmth. The whole Infected Rain band matches her intensity. Vidick on guitar and Alice Lane on bass set the whole stage on fire. Heidi joined Lena on stage for “The Realm of Chaos“, their collab single, and watching the two of them together made it clear their friendship goes well beyond music. At some point during the Infected Rain set, she invited all the brave ones to crowdsurf up to the stage to hi-five her while the show kept going. Kollektivet Livet turned into a proper party.
